4. Rough grade. Skid-steer or mini excavator passes — we shape the lot to within an inch of final grade.
5. Compaction. Plate compactor on driveway and pad areas, roller for larger lots.
6. Final grade with hand work. Rake-finish around features and edges.
7. Water test. Where drainage was the issue, we run a hose to confirm the new slope sends water where it should.
